Favorite song by a make believe band that originated on tv or in a movie. If the band went on to play actual shows, that's fine as long as they originated in the above media. Mine: Runner Up: youtu.be/CFUOnT0ZnUc Winner: youtu.be/TzaVd6zl2bA |

La Marseillaise by the house band at Rick's Café Americaine in Casablanca. Though not quite a band, Men of Harlech by the chorus of B Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Foot in Zulu comes close. |

The Monkeys were a band first then they made a show? That would disqualify them, as much as I like them. Flash Gordon 80s song was by Queen, not a fictitious band in the film. Number 1 "Everyboy get ready…" For the Zit Remedy!
Number 2 I hate you, by edge of etiquette. (LLAP…I hate you!) Other Ideas Wild Stallions!!! Mystic spiral's work. O Brother's soggy bottom boys. Gumby. Although I preferred the block heads. |

The Monkees weren't a band before the TV show. They were actors, they auditioned, and were put together. They also only did limited musical work during the first season, but eventually ended up being a band. |
Uesugi Kenshin | 07 Aug 2019 9:12 a.m. PST |
Monkeys were definitely a fictional band that later became a real band. |
