Hurricon site on Tabletop games is available. There are 3 pages of events already. The Park Inn is now the Days Inn. Phone number is the same. I called the hotel directly to book my room. To me it seems the easiest, most direct way. Got immediate answers to my questions and was able to register my requests. The rooms come with continental breakfast. I submitted my game – Attack on Mudawwarah Station 1918. It is time to buy badges, book rooms and submit/sign up for games. |

Nick always puts on a great game. He not only puts on his own game using The Sword and the Flame but also coordinates with other GMs to keep the table filled with TSATF games the whole convention. Table has been a big hit. The formal name is The Days Hotel by Wyndham Celebration. Address remains the same. For those of you who have been before we will be in the South Tower this show. To meet the stricter Wyndham requirements the hotel is undergoing a comprehensive upgrade. The North Tower, which is the one we are normally in and mere steps from the Convention Center is closed for its turn this show. It will be reopened in time for RECON. The South Tower was just finished so you will be able to try out the new rooms. The Convention Center renovations will be done by HURRICON so no problems there. The lobby will be under renovation while we are there but also will be done by RECON. Good news for many of us, a Starbucks will be included as part of the renovations! For more, to include a list of games as they are submitted, go to the Table Top site: link |

Thanks Marc. Can you release the deadline dates for pre-registration and game submission so people know how much time they have? |
Rudysnelson | 21 Jul 2019 2:50 p.m. PST |
Well next week I will try to get reservations. I got the Days Inn change notice. |
Marc33594 | 23 Jul 2019 8:40 a.m. PST |
Nick; Will try and get some firm dates but in the past GM submissions cut off 3 1/2 weeks from con and pre-reg and game sign-ups 2 1/2 weeks ahead. Rudy; The switch over to the new reservation system has been trying to say the least but believe it is fixed. You can use the "Reserve Room Through This Link" in large blue letters just above a copy of the advertising card on the table top site, it should be fixed now: link Or call the hotel direct at 407-396-1400 and select option 1. The group code is 092619HMG We regret the problems with the reservations which usually goes smoothly but am sure folks recognize this was a hotel issue. |
Rudysnelson | 23 Jul 2019 2:13 p.m. PST |
I got the reservation today and they said it was at the 82$ rate and no resort fees. |
Marc33594 | 23 Jul 2019 3:12 p.m. PST |
Thanks for the update Rudy. The Board, especially Scott, has been working overtime to make sure it all works. And, as always, look forward to seeing you and of course browsing your incredible variety of books! |

TSATF got me hooked on playing Colonials. I think, by now, I have played in at least one game by each of the GMs who Nick has herded together to put on TSATF table for the whole convention. NEVER a bad game I have enjoyed each one I played. So even if you have only a passing interest in the period grab a spot! Part of the fun of conventions is trying a period or genre you havent before. And both the players and GMs are very welcoming. |

Marc33594 | 04 Aug 2019 4:21 a.m. PST |
Nothing going on Wednesday. Set up is thursday starting about noon. Thursday evening has become so popular with pick up games and such it is now also a regularly scheduled gaming session (8pm-midnight). The main gaming room also holds the vendors. It is open to the public from 9am-midnight but opens earlier for the vendors. The vendors are allowed to set their own hours within that rather large window. The flea market is friday from 6pm-8pm. You can check out the games so far link Don't forget to hit the "…" for more of the schedule. |

Marc and Nick , Thanks for all the updates. Hurricon 19 looks to be shaping up to being a very good con . Maybe this has already been answered somewhere , but what is the food situation in the hotel i.e. the Hallway setup and the food court ? |
Marc33594 | 21 Aug 2019 4:06 a.m. PST |
The hotel has made some changes to the convention area but they assure us that the food concession will be up and running as usual. Of interest is they now have a continental style breakfast for free! Not sure where this will be set up since construction ongoing but for those who want a light breakfast bodes well for the future. Also awaiting final status of the food court. No word yet on whether the Starbucks will be open in time for HURRICON or not. Several fast food restaurants have recently opened within a relatively short, and safe walking distance of the hotel as well giving folks more options without having to move our cars. Keeping fingers crossed some updates to the hotel's bar area. Not bad but rather small and not all that conducive to the critical after action stories from the games! |
