I discovered the actual Hobby of Wargaming in College, however Toy Soldiers have been a part of my life since early childhood. |

I think I was 14 when I checked out a copy of Featherstone's Wargame book from the school library. |

Right around 23-24, went looking for some resource materials for a college paper, stumbled into a GHQ micro-armor game. I did have the Roco-Minitanks and Airfix models and plastic soldiers though when I was around 12-13. |

Formally, August 1977 so 11, but was aware I could do something other than chuck pen tops at them earlier than that. First Airfix (which opened the floodgates) aged 3, but had Timpo figures before that so I've probably been into Toy Soldiers since I was 2. I suppose it depends how wide the definition of miniature wargaming is 😉 |

Real miniature based wargames? A late bloomer in my 30's Playing with toy soldiers? As early as I can remember. And the distinction between the two is, happily, quite blurred. |
