Perrys are looking after us well right now. Just today announced three new artillery pieces, foot artillery, pre 1812 outfits, with 8 pdr cannons….and some "different" poses once more. Looks like great animation. There are also some new early Russians, but let me just show these three;

Superb! And quick on the draw Deadhead. I actually watched these appearing on the website but did not think to post! You will be doing Armand out of a job! |

they will do well into 1813, so a good set for 1808 to 1813 |

Great stuff – really love the ramrod guy with the covered shako in the first set, just exudes attitude! |

The spongeman is every set is my favourite figure here. Mind you, the loader in the second gun is unusually posed too….and just great. I like the attention to detail in that the spongeman has his implement now rotated to ram home the ammo and the ventsman is suing his thumb as required to prevent accidental ignition of the propellant. (I always wondered why some HA used a curved/crooked sponge. It looks daft, but now I know! Keeps one hands out of the line of fire "just in case") |

I must reflect that it is about five years too late for me. I converted gunners for this period from Perry Guard Foot Artillery and got the 8 pdrs from Westfakia (what is now Black Hussar). Oh well … I suppose everything does come to he who waits. |

How much variety there is for French! The Austrian is rather poor with the pose A and the pose B !!! |

And next we need gunners in bicornes plus train :-) @Costanzo1 You are right but for more variety you can use the Handlanger AN9 |

Very nice! I'm looking forward to their 1808 plastic french infantry, so this will go nicely along side… |

Very nice indeed. I love the jaunty pose of the top ramrod holder. So Tango deadheadlius. |

So Perry or Victrix – decisions decisions. Or both maybe… |
