Seriously, I can see a smart company developing to use large scale 3D printers to create custom body panels designed to fit already existing stock car frames. Imagine being able to "snap fit" a Batmobile around a Civic frame. Wanna drive your favorite over-the-top Hot Wheel? Just print the panels and snap ‘em on! After-market gold. |
