The new owners Fighting15s didn't seem to have any pictures :(

No pics handy but here is what I remember about them off hand.

28mm Gladiators – Slightly cartoony, knee and elbow joints don't look quite right. I did use some of them for casualties for my gladiator games.

15mm Zulus – Slightly beefy, this works well for the Zulu command but not for the regular troops. Their casualty figures are on integral bases and work well for markers.

15mm Dark Ages – Slightly oversized in the 18mm range. They are even slightly larger than the Old Glory Vikings. I had intended to use them as giants for a Norse mythology themed game with true 15mm scale figs but I never got around to it.

That's all I've got for you. Best of luck.

@Aegon:

Ian plans to re-do the photos of the entire range. A long process no doubt.

I still have some of the old pics on my web site at ScaleCreep.com

Look for the BLACK HAT range, not Gladiator (same figs, different branding).

If there's a specific range you need to see I can also post some camera phone pics…

All the sub-ranges were done by varying sculptors to the Punic Wars, for example, look nothing like the ECW range…

As far as I can see Ian has all the pictures I had – the biblicals were never photographed so there is only a scattering of pictures for chariots, etc where I got a chance to do them…

He has photos for all the other ancient ranges

Those African spearmen look like the work of Joseph Ochmann.

Many years ago I bought GM Abyssinians, only because they were virtually the only 15mm Abyssinians available at the time, and certainly the most complete range.

They're bulky and somewhat two-dimensional, with crude, soft detail and vast, flat 'moon-faces'; barely human-looking in fact.

Presuming it's still available, AFAIK the GM range is still the most complete in 15mm.

These were all acquired by Gladiator and now back to Fighting 15s.

I have some of the Old Kingdom Egyptians done by a different sculptor which are decent if a bit bulkier as well as some of the newer Gladiator Medievals which are rather larger and, to my eye, cruder.

If you tick the box for "manufacturer" and then run a search for the term "black" you'll throw up quite a few pictures of various ranges here:

I see from Fighting 15's FAQs that they don't visit here. Perhaps try contacting them about pictures?
