I'm interested in purchasing the Galactic Heroes rules, and would like to know how many pages they are, and if the PDF is primarily black and white, in color, printer friendly – uses less ink, and how many pages it is?

The PDF costs about 1/3 of the price of the printed rule book, not including shipping for the latter.

However, it might be a false economy to buy the PDF if I'll use a lot of ink and paper to print it myself.

Thoughts?

Galactic Heroes and Fistful of Lead core rules should be about the same size as they are very similiar in content and design. I have the core rule book in print and its 54 pages from inside cover to last page inside cover. I have not seen the Galactic Heroes rule set but I do find the core rules a good starting point for any design your own period. Jaye is planning forthwith to have modules to enhance or add to the core information. If sci fi is your main thrust than definitely Galactic Heroes is the way to go.
