When I awoke this morning I thought I must have dreamed this, so I rechecked the Mexican Adventure list in the recently-purchased copy of 'Rebels and Patriots' I was reading last night and no…there it was, word for word: '… an Egyptian Auxiliary Corps of about 1,000 soldiers – including 450 camel cavalry, 13 cannon elephants, 29 Coptic knights, and 17 war hounds!' |
