I tried out the citadel contrast colours on one of the gringo 40 Vietnam Marines. It is not finished yet !

The paint is in reality a heavily pigmented wash. I think it works as a foundation but is not a solution in itself!

Yep, I have been experimenting on 6mm mostly. Nice washes but at that price I'll be *very* selective about which ones, if any, I buy regularly.

Found using the GW sprays works a charm. Plain old acrylic spray doesn't really cut it. The Dark Angels green isn't that great, but Millitarium Green, Snakebite Leather and the black tone (can't remember the name) are genius. For SW Legion Rebel infantry, these colours are the go-to.
