On the PCN weather program they are going over the weather during the battle. Day 1 was only in the higher 70s morning , 2pm and evening. Day 2 70s in morning low 80 2pm and 70s evening. Day 3 high 70s morning but 87 at 2pm. |

Where I live, in inland Southern California, those temperatures would be considered mild, especially for summer. (It'll be in the high 80s here today, and quite comfortable.) But in southeast Pennsylvania, with its higher humidity, I would rate 80 degrees F as "hot" and 87 as "sweltering." Throw in a lot of rotting corpses, human and otherwise, and I'd just as soon pass. |
