That looks excellent good, Legion. What did you use for the wire? I've used the springs from cheap biros for smaller-length sections and think they look pretty good and in-scale, but I need loads of new ones for an idea I'm playing with …

I wrap steel wire around a dowel for 10mm:

I use floral wire wrapped around a dowel … easy !

I used the springs from old used up ink pens. really easy!

I also use wire from ink pens for my barbed wire!
