Wheat field; attack on Little Round Top, etc. I work full time, so cannot watch the PA channel. Maybe when I get old next year, 83, I'll find time! GdeP |

An incredible battle. The delay in getting Longstreet into position cost the Confederates dearly. |

It is carried by cable channels in Pennsylvania, I suspect some with Philadelphia cable company in New Jersey might have it as I have NJN, but you might be out of luck elsewhere. |

If your in Pennsylvania cable channels carry it free. Dish network might. Every year beginning of July PCN has followed and recorded talks by rangers and guides, there are some new but they show old shows as well. It is the most tv binging I ever do, nothing gets done July 1,2,3. |

The ranger walk programs are great. In past years my reenactment battalion participated in some of them. we would form up the spectators into their own battalion with some of our officers and NCOs to keep them in formation and then trace the movements of the troops. We did Cross's Brigade one year and Willard's on another. One year we formed the spectators up as part of our own battalion and portrayed one of Stannard's Vermont regiments. On the actual ground, we wheeled out (did a change of front, actually) to the flanking position they took and then fired vollies down the stone wall. It was seriously cool! |
