Last night I set up this…

link

As usual all photos are thumbnails and all open up much larger on a double-click and have caption stories beneath each.

This is a composite group of all my 'Wars of the Roses' photos and I will add more from my Flickr group as and when.
Subjects are:

Bosworth (already seen on TMP)
Kirby Muxloe (already seen on TMP)
Re-enactors at Castle Rising at various dates including two videos of a bombard being fired
Home-made banners – generic Yorkist and a Richard Duke of York 'Falcon in a Fetterlock'
The Richard III museum and visitor centre in Leicester
Middleham Castle, former home of the Earl of Warwick, sometime home of Richard III and birth place of Richard's only son Edward of Middleham.
28mm Wars of the Roses wargame figures at Salute 2010, the Perry Miniatures Battle of Tewkesbury.

At some stage I will also set up a Castles of England and Wales group but that will be down the way a bit.

Very nice. Thanks.

Thank you both, and my thanks to the 115 people who have viewed the group so far.
To come, in the near future, is Warwick Castle, Tewkesbury battlefield (disappointing) and Tewkesbury Abbey.

At Tewkesbury, it was interesting to note that the Duke of Somerset is buried UNDER the abbey's bookshop! :)

I have now added the Portchester Castle re-enactors to the Wars of the Roses group.
They are some of my earliest WOTR photos but somehow I forgot them.
They are on the group's page 2.
