Shame about the captain's career. Because even though the ship was under control of the pilot, it's the captain's fault. Pilot probably won't even get a verbal reprimand. |

Man, the USN can't catch a break. A shame the LCS didn't sink, to keep us from spending any more money on it. Of course, I'd want it to do that slowly, so all the sailors get off safely. Hope someone in the USN is listening and will pull the plug on these abject failures. The helmsman/pilot should be held accountable if they are at fault, not the captain. Time to reprimand/punish the real people responsible, and not the convenient scapegoat. |
