As if there was any doubt beforehand, what with successful ASAT weapons deployed by at least three countries, and I suspect several more having them but not wishing to tip their hand to enemies – e.g. USA, Russia, and China have all tested and successfully hit satellites or targets in space with their ASAT weapons. Add in powerful ground, or airborne lasers, and hypersonic weapons, and you really get to escalate the "fun"………. |
