According to Artillery and Ammunition of the Civil War (Warren Ripley) the piece had a 131" long barrel overall. |

As to measurements, sorry, cannot help. As to use - CSS Stonewall mounted a 300 pounder Armstrong rifle in her forward gun port. That piece probably was never fired in anger. CSS Stonewall ultimately served the Japanese. She apparently retained her 3 Armstrong rifles, including the 300 pounder. See the link: link |

The tube length for the 150 lb was 129.75 inches. The tube weighed in at 14,893 lb. This site has everything you ever wanted to know about ACW artillery: link |
