I can't seem to find any measurements, does anyone know how long the barrel was?

ACWBill24 Jun 2019 12:09 p.m. PST

According to Artillery and Ammunition of the Civil War (Warren Ripley) the piece had a 131" long barrel overall.

Thank you so much, this info will be very helpful! Another question were the 300 and 600 models ever used in the ACW? What were the measurements?

As to measurements, sorry, cannot help. As to use -
CSS Stonewall mounted a 300 pounder Armstrong rifle
in her forward gun port.

That piece probably was never fired in anger.

CSS Stonewall ultimately served the Japanese.
She apparently retained her 3 Armstrong rifles,
including the 300 pounder.
