Dulce bellum inexpertis

War is sweet to those who have no experience of it,
but the experienced man trembles exceedingly at heart on its approach.

Always good to have casualty figures. I used to insist on putting one down for every 2 figures lost – minimum. Great way to follow the action of the conflict.

Thank you Mr W.

This is part of my Quatre Bras re fight and casualties are most useful marking the progress of the battle as you say.

I use hundreds of them. Most useful for making up new units as the action progresses rather than have to paint up hundreds of extra troops.

Best wishes,

Chris
