Production of the Mk 3 began in 1948. The Mk 3 had the 20 pdr. The 20 pounder gun was used until the Royal Ordnance Factories introduced the 105 mm L7 gun in 1959. |

I have been looking around – that is an elusive figure. Best I could come up with was a model of the Mk 5/1 with the 20 pdr representing a tank that was at Port Said in 1956. |

According to Modern Combat Vehicles: 2 Centurion (Simon Dustan) the Mk 5 was produced in 3 lots. Lot 1 qty 1955/56 – 36
Lot 2 1956/57 – 176
Lot 3 1957/58 – 9
Hope this helps
