What, cheesy nonsense. Really gentlemen, if we're going to be juvenile, let's concentrate on model soldiers. |

I was determined not to voice exactly the same opinion, as I have often done about such work…but I agree totally. Harmless? Yes, even if non PC, but it is a bit "anorak material" |

No I am not…well only partly, post retirement. Seriously though, I am glad some folk think this is a bit weird.

A dissenting voice. What I find weird is the Slaughterloo type fantasy stuff with goblins, orcs and other grotesque creatures dressed in napoleonic uniforms. Given a choice between an orc and a pretty girl dressed as a guard lancer, I know which I prefer. |

It's a matter of taste… they would be miniatures some time in the future…. Amicalement Armand

"It's a matter of taste" Well, indeed. |

Look, let us be honest. What is the contemporary image of Wargamers…however unjust and stereotypical? What BMI, what dress sense, what success with real girls (or whatever preference), what level of obsessional traits? But that is how many folk think…… This sort of thing does not help. Goblins. They can be a bit weird for my taste. But a cuirassier riding a T Rex is pretty impressive and good for a laugh….harms no-one. They all died 65 million years ago. The dinosaurs, not the cuirassiers. They all died 204 years ago

Agreed. Some think goblins riding dinosaurs are more "tasteful". Each to his own. |
