Beautiful piece. I was curious about those vertical beams at the back of the stable that are cut off part way up the wall. Going to the web site, it turns out the picture above is the lower story. There is a second story, a hay loft and roof, that sits on top. I'm guessing 2 partial beams come down from it to register against the wall and complete those cut off beams. Couldn't find a shot that shows that though. |
