To all Members:

I would like to share to following news concerning John McEwan that was posted on his Face Book page:

Attention Friends, Family, and Customers

Our small family business Tin-Soldier.com has just suffered the death of a family relative. John and Mary McEwan barely arrived in California for the upcoming funeral, when John McEwan suffered an accident with injuries requiring upcoming surgery and extended hospital stay.

We do not yet have estimates for John's post-surgical safe return home to Washington and later return to work.

With John, the main force behind tin-soldier.com, out of commission for a while, I need to inform customers of delays in processing orders.

Customers' paid outstanding orders will be fulfilled. We do appreciate your understanding in allowing us time for service, burial, and now John's healthcare and healing process to begin before an order-fulfillment timeline can be determined.

I will update this page as more information becomes available, as I, James McEwan do not currently have access to the website.

Please stay tuned.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding!
Sincerely,
the McEwan family

Here is an update on that was posted on his Facebook Page

Update on John McEwan.

I finally had a chance to speak with my mother and she asked for those who wish to pray for John to do so tonight as he goes into surgery tomorrow. The surgery is expected to be about five hours. Due to the nature of the event that caused John's injuries, we will not be releasing any information at this time. However, I can say that John broke his right Humerus and tore his rotator cuff on that side. As well as breaking his hip on the right side.

I did speak with John this afternoon although in pain and a great deal of discomfort he is doing his best in the given situation.

There have been some questions about sending flowers and cards. We are asking people not to send flowers due to allergies, however, for those who wish to send cards, once I have an address to send them to I will post it for you.
If you wish to relay a personal message to John now please do it here. My sister will ensure that your messages will be read to him.

Again thank you all for your good wishes so far.
I will keep you all updated.
James.
