How are the so-called "contrasts" different from the "washes" that they used to sell? |

I think the Contrasts are more like "filter washes" -- they flow well into recesses like washes but they color the base color more, like a filter. |

Looks better when there are more fine details to create actual "contrasts". On the small wolves the overall impression is incomplete. |

Your base coat isn't smooth enough friend. After prime, hit them with a clear satin and you will see better results. |

Also, using an offwhite/light beige/putty base coat will help those colors immensely. |
