Back in 2012 I was introduced to Commands & Colors Napoleonics and started a project to build 6mm armies for the game. These days I paint Napoleonics in 40mm scale, but thought I would share a few images from back then, all now sold on. I used Baccus figures on mdf bases. In homage to those tiny chaps, here are some of the units.

Hope you like them,
Lee.

From 6mm to 40mm!! That's quite a jump …

I am going the opposite direction – from 28mm to 6mm

Those are very nice figs!

And I wish that you had sold them to me! Very nice work!

Thanks for the comments, hopefully they are all still in regular use, the new owner was very pleased with them. What I forgot to add was that before I sold them I actually rebased them all on smaller bases so that I could use them either on the textured board or the actual C&C game board. Quite a job it was but worth it. I added a Russian army too, that was in 2013 before they went on ebay! I do tend to get fed up with projects once they reach a certain point but I do kind of regret selling this lot, still live and learn as they say :)

Royal Marine: Yes a big step from 6mm to 40mm I agree, but infact there were several projects in between from 15mm to 28mm ……and they all got sold off too. The 40mm's are keepers though, cost me an arm and a leg!

Few more pics, all baccus of course.

Oh, that's terrible! Can I ask… how much did you sell them for? That's a fabulous looking collection…

grambo20 Aug 2019 1:23 a.m. PST

Hi Lord Ashram – I can't recall now as it was quite a few years ago now, but probably not as much as they were worth in terms of time invested, but that's ebay for you :)

I used to follow your blog regularly, I must check it out again.

Lee.
