I started this project way back in the 80s, and then moved on to other projects. Recently been adding addtional elements to this iconic Napoleonic naval battle. Take a look at miniaturesgaming.blogspot.com |

Quite a project. Are the ships 1/2000 scale Fighting Sails from Valiant Enterprises? |

Nice ships and mat. What are all the cards for? |

Impressive indeed. You are going to need a slightly bigger table though. ;-) Big Red. I think the ships are 1/1200 by a mix of manufacturers. Some, like Victory, Temeraire and Dreadnought, are Skytrex/Red Eagle. Others, like Royal Sovereign, Pluton, Achille, Bahama and Duguay Trouin, are GHQ. There are others that I don't recognize. Maybe some Navwar. |

Sorry guys, I wrote out an answer to you Big Red and Old Cotemptible, but I just noticed it disappeared. The ships are mostly old GHQ Micronauts, (some very old with scratch-built paper sails added) with about 20 new models recently added. The cards/paper slips help me to keep track of my inventory as I upgrade. Admiral Hawk, I do plan on using my full table (8x7') but I actually have the Battle Cruiser battle at Jutland occupying the majority of the table right now (just out of view of the top of photo). I was playing around with doing new models for both when I took these photos. (You can actually see the Jutland game on my blogger page) |
