The battle near Caddo Lake continues. The 36ths Division 71st Brigade has been badly battered, with one regiment in rout, the other trapped against the waters edge. But the division has depth, and a has organized a counterattack with the 143rd Regiment supported by two, as yet uncommitted tank brigades. Also, advanced forces from the army of Saint Louis are swooping in behind the Martian in a classic pincer move.

Excellent report. We played last as well. 5 players. 600ish points per side (not per player). Game done in about 2hours.

PHGamer15 Jun 2019 3:27 a.m. PST

Thank you both. 600 points? That is only 3 assault tripods.

Great looking game!

Hi PHGamer.
We wanted to get back into the system with a small game. 4 Scout tripods vs 18 Cavalry, 2 Armoured cars and 2 field batteries. 5 of us guys. We have lots of other figures including proxy Germans and French. My son prefers his U.S. troops and Germans. I like my Canadians including Cree Indians and working on NWMP.
We are working on a U.S./Canadian attack to re-capture Port Arthur (Thunder Bay).
Please keep us informed of your ongoing games/campaign.

Very cool battle! Someday I hope to run some really large engagements like that one.

I have been mulling over a tactic for the Martians with the Scout Tripods. Run them into the human lines, and then wait for the luck dice for a detonation. Kind of like the scythed chariots of old.
