His painted miniatures are a steal of a deal: fully painted Lizardmen @ $3.20 USD each! His other painted mini's are less than $6 USD each, purchased in sets. They are painted to a GEtGW (Good Enough to Game With) standard, looking very good at arm's length. Unpainted mini's from other makers, like Reaper's Bones, sell for about that price! Too bad I have plenty of Lizardmen already… They are tempting, though. A friend bought a couple of sets of these Lizardmen when they first came out, around 15-20 years ago. They are nice, not the best on the market, but very respectable, decently painted, and ready for the table, out of the box -- they need nothing, except enemies to serve at their, "horrid feasts" (1977 AD&D Monster Manual description excerpt, written by E. Gary Gygax). Cheers! |
