Too bad that had a terrible hull shape, tended to get stuck in a berm. Not to mention having a different engine than the M113 so needed it's own parts supplied… The "M113 1/2" C&R, aka Lynx was a much better vehicle all around. Though that 20mm gun turret is interesting. |

Yes, I remember hearing stories about the M114 from some of the "old timers". But yes, it would have been nice if the M113 got the 20mm or even the turret for the .50. Some of the old guys called them a tracked armored Jeep. IIRC they said they had some maintenance problems too ?  |
