I would prefer to add wire pikes, rather than have them cast on – and hence both too short and brittle – to the ECW pikemen in Pendraken's 10mm range, as is the case in their League of Augsburg range.
Today I've started a thread requesting open-handed pike men with armour/no armour and a variety of headgear in the Pendraken Forum. Confusingly, it had to be under 18th century!
If you agree, please add your vote! Thanks for your help.

Snip the pike off, drill the hand, insert wire pike, glue, rinse and repeat.

Drill the hand on a 10mm figure? You must be kidding, Jim! You make that sound so simple.

@coopman – yes, dead easy after you have done the first 500!
