There seems to be something wrong with that article.

The Pleistocene wolf's head is 40cm long, so half of the whole body length of a modern wolf which varies from 66 to 86cm.

Isn't there 30cm (roughly) a foot? So this article says a modern wolf is between 2-3 feet long (roughly)?
