Just picked up the box set from Thewarstore sale. I am curious about something. The model shows them in Winter kit. Is that correct? From what I can discover from Google, they were active in the fall of 1941. Not much snow there, even in Finland. |

Us Finns used tanks during the attack phase (latter half of 1941) and during the retreat during Soviet offensive in the summer of 1944. Off head, I don't recall BT tanks (aka Christies) being used in 1944. Probably because they were (all?) converted to the poorly performing BT-42's… Here is the best resource in the net for Finnish Tanks: andreaslarka.net Sadly no Christies (except some BT-42s) |
