Mallius Miniatures launches into the kickstarter's adventures with a range of 15mm skavens. You will find the classic troops of this army : rat-ogre, chemical weapons … and even if this emerging range lacks some references, the sculpture is faithful for some minis to that of the 90s.

Looking at some of the models I wonder if they are perhaps not a bit too "faithful". The Book of Rats has a model that is almost a perfect copy of the metal rat priest sitting on my table infront of me and several others look to be very similar to near identical sculpts too.

It's one thing to produce an alternate line of models but this line seems way too close to the designs that GW uses to be safe from a copyright claim.

Let them worry about IP claims. Just remember that it is very hard to protect man rats and GW doesn't have a 15mm line.

The sculpts look pretty good in a cartoony way. The Ogre-Rat is kind of meh.

I have a bunch of the Splintered Light ratmen and will probably pick theses guys up for the gas rats and book rats. I think a Hamster Wheel War Wagon would have been a great centerpiece goal for a project like this. Some ratmen long clockwork rifle/arquebus/jezail 2 man teams would also not go awry.
