Had a little surprise today. Roofer tested his work by hosing down the roof, and found a leak – right into gaming closet #1! Wasn't as catastrophic as it looked at first glance, only about a bucket's worth of water. Fortunately, half the items were in plastic storage containers, so were waterproof… other items were in boxes, but it wasn't enough water to get to the interior. No damage except to some boxes! Just a reminder that… you never know! |

A hit on the pentagon. Better institute security measures for the future, Bill. Glad no disaster occurred. My stuff is mostly in cardboard boxes. |

You might want to consider moving gaming closet #1 (ie. HQ) into an underground, concrete and lead lined bunker. Or spreading some plastic sheeting over your stuff. |

It took three years, but I have moved all my hobby storage into Really Useful Boxes to protect them from rain, snow, flood, and perhaps roofers. |
