Hi Guys,

Here's a pic from a convention game I presented recently, themed on the Battle Of Novara – 1513, using a modified set of Neil Thomas' Ancient & Medieval rules.

Love the era. Got a url with more?

mghFond, like you – to me it's such an interesting transitional period (as commanders were beginning to assimilate Lt. Infantry as close-supports with the pike squares, but not quite 'within' their formations yet).

This allowed me to field crossbow and arquebusier units as separate maneuver elements from out of my meager collection, and give the players more tactical options (if they chose to utilize their Lt.s flexibility in the game, for fire vs. melee support).

Well, I don't have a blog, but can link the scenario's map setup here (thanks for your response btw!) -
