Lots of new recruits at Chateau KeepYourPowderDry Lieutenant General James Wemyss' Regiment of Foot link Prince Maurice's Firelocks link Colonel John Pickering's Regiment of Foot link Pickering's were a guinea pig in my question "I wonder how long it takes.." link – the answer is just under 11 minutes a 'man'. That's prepped, painted, washed, varnished and based. A taster:

Many thanks everyone. Timing the process was strange – I usually paint a bit here, bit there, so finding out the whole process was 6+ hours was a bit of a shock. But 11 minutes a figure seems reasonable (but is the same thing!) |
