Wouldn't use them for Napoleonic era, much earlier even pre 7yw.

The pics are from the League of Augsburg page, which deals with the late 17th and very early 18th. It looks like they're carrying matchlocks.

Note that in the 17th century, most cossacks were infantry.

Why would militia use match locks? The production of match coard was actually more expensive then using flint. I'm not sure there was any real production of match coard at this point.
