We play Team Yankee on either a 6'x9' or 6'x12' table using 150 points and I was wondering if anyone had thoughts regarding mission modifications for a larger armies on a larger table size. Some missions, like Counterattack, are hard for the defender as the reserves need to come across a longer distance in order to contest an objective. I was thinking of adding one turn, or perhaps two but that may be too much, to the time when you determine victory, i.e. do it starting on turn 7 rather than 6.

Anyway, I'm curious how others have approached this issue.

We are working up toward some bigger 6mm TY games in my club as well. Our first plan is a reinforced Soviet tank regiment attacking a scratch defensive force of US and West Germans.

In the counter attack case, I would have the defender write down where the reserves are. When rolled for they appear at that point. Maybe even let them come in on a flank.

My table is twice as long and twice as wide as the standard FOW gaming area, so I just double all ranges and movement distances. That way I do not have to calculate an amount of extra turns.
