Sometimes you just need a boat. It does not need to be some sad overpainted waste of time but a functional boat. A flat piece of card would do, but its never generally a good idea to mix 2D with 3D it can have issue relating to LOS. So here is a perfect quick boat that can be scaled and made from a pice of coloured paper and then scrapped so no storage issues. Have fun and watch the painting crowd freak out in the sheer horror of it!

I've always taken painting and modelling to be a big part of the hobby – aesthetics, an' all that. But sometimes you have to throw something together quickly (and often just once) for a game, so this sort of thing is really useful.

I've finally come to the conclusion that the quest for 'perfection' can cripple projects. I used card strips to play TTG's Pony Wars in 1983 when I was at college and funds were limited. I've tried umpteen times since to get it off the ground with figures, all of which have failed.
