Sometimes you just need a boat. It does not need to be some sad overpainted waste of time but a functional boat. A flat piece of card would do, but its never generally a good idea to mix 2D with 3D it can have issue relating to LOS. So here is a perfect quick boat that can be scaled and made from a pice of coloured paper and then scrapped so no storage issues. Have fun and watch the painting crowd freak out in the sheer horror of it! PDF link |

I've always taken painting and modelling to be a big part of the hobby – aesthetics, an' all that. But sometimes you have to throw something together quickly (and often just once) for a game, so this sort of thing is really useful. I've finally come to the conclusion that the quest for 'perfection' can cripple projects. I used card strips to play TTG's Pony Wars in 1983 when I was at college and funds were limited. I've tried umpteen times since to get it off the ground with figures, all of which have failed. |
