I was thinking about putting antennas on some tanks.
What is best way to do this?

Buy a cheap paintbrush, drill a tiny hole in the appropriate place on the tank. Insert single hair from brush, superglue. Done. Oh trim brush hair to proper length

Best size is from a house brush

Fine Nylon black fishing line or black Nylon brush. Clear doesn't show up & nylon doesn't paint well, can't get it in 4BO or OD.

I use black or clear plastic bristles from a brush. This makes them flex and less likely to pop off the vehicle with handling.

Stretched plastic sprue also works and takes paint without any issues.

The wife's hairbrush. She'll notice eventually, but I'll have lots of antennas done before then!

I found that the ASDA range of paint brushes that are very thin nylon bristles work well for this job. I also use longer versions for ship rigging as well . Very versatile these brushes !
