I had a chance tonight to jump in to a play test of the forthcoming 2nd edition of Brother Against Brother. Here's a quick link to some pics I took of the fantastic table:

The chickens look great; but how good are the rules?

Nice table – yeah tell us about this project. I'm a big fan of the 1st edition and thought any further development here was not in the cards.

I'm with Flashman on this. BAB is one of my favorite set of rules. Adaptable to so many things (Bob Charrettes VSF Parroom station rules are based on BAB for example). I had no idea a new edition was in the works. What if any changes?

Quite a lot of changes actually. Turn sequence is randomized by card draw, with some cards letting you move one unit. some an entire command. Shooting is now with firepoints, so just 1d10 per volley. Unique cover system has you add 1 or 2 extra dice. A miss on one is a miss on all. Morale is now a table but similar to the old card deck.

I never played 1st so hard for me to gauge differences.

Looking forward to this.
Any idea as to when it will be released?

Sounds good; I only recently got hold of a copy of the 1st edition.

That's a fine looking table :-)

I'm excited to hear this -- the original rules are very good.

Best place to get info is the Facebook Group – I don't think he does anything else as far as online or updates/blog etc.

Great looking table!

I too am a big fan of BAB. I've always found it a great way to introduce others to the hobby and historical period.

Hmm. Not seeing "Brother Against Brother" in Facebook except for a band. Any link?

Is it possible to get the Brothers Divided scenario book anywhere?

Good to hear that there's an update. I really like BAB -- run a game nearly every year at Barrage (H.A.W.K.s convention in MD).

Brother against brother- is this a set of urban combat rules?

Any idea when version 2 is available, and from whom?
