Hi, Some years ago I created a War of Spanish Succession what-if Imagi-nation under the name of Defiant Principality, and then started running a campaign to see whether it was capable to survive the maelstrom about to fall upon it, or what. The campaign lasted several years and was a source of lots of fun. It achieved a further dimension after I was accepted into the 'Emperor vs. Elector' 18th c. imagi-nations community --something that allowed a number of valuable and amusing interactions. I've been missing constantly my Defiant Principality since I had to cease developing it, due to personal reasons. But I can wait no longer, and now I'm determined to revive my beloved what-if nation. A handful of still interested gaming mates have started gathering around a story plot, while a campaigning system and a specific RPG ruleset are being written out. However, after that much time since I disconnected, now I have no idea about the existance of any specifical early 18th century community, or where do they share their storylines. Is it now this TMP subforum a successor to the good old 'Emperor vs. Elector' blog? Do people use now other channels? Thanks in advance for your kind responses Sirs, Lluís link |

Doesn't the good old "Emperor vs. Elector" blog still exist? I for one would love to read about your imagi-nation exploits. |

I also would like to read about your imagi-nation games. We have a small group here who just finished a campaign of the Nine Years War and are about to start another WSS campaign. |

Doesn't the good old "Emperor vs. Elector" blog still exist? Well, the blog itself is still there, but no one is posting there now. A number individual members' blogs are seemingly active, but I don't know if they still use a shared platform for announcements, diplomacy and so. |

Yes, the "Emperor vs Elector" blog still exists, but there have been no postings on it since Jeff died in October 2016, even though Murdock stated "There is no reason to stop posting here and continuing a game-filled conversation.". It is still active listing the blog postings of those of us who are/were followers. emperor-elector.blogspot.com Jim |

And Der Alte Fritz's Fife and Drum Forum also caters to 18th Century ImagiNations. I would say there are 10-15 members of the Forum posting about their ImagiNations. fifeanddrumminis.proboards.com |

Happy to meet you again Sirs I'm still pondering how to proceed with the story telling issue. It's quite likely that the revamped Principality blog (defiant-principality.blogspot.com is written in catalan language solely, in the end, so as to keep the gamers informed about the plot itself; this is why I was seeking a different place where to post the story translations into english. Perhaps would go for fifeanddrumminis blog, but it being a miniatures brand sponsored forum I'm still doubtful. I've been a TMP member for so many years that it still seems to me a first choice for this job. Have I become a compulsive hesitant with age? *sigh* Lluís |

Sure, why not start here. You can always transfer or double post to another site in the future if you find TMP isn't working for you. Sorry, Catalan is a little beyond my illiterate, slang vocabulary. |

OK thanks. I've already started writing some preliminary posts on the Defiant Principality's brand new blog (defiant-principality.blogspot.com) --but these are aimed at giving an introduction to the campaign's future gamers, and are of little interest still for other Imagi-nationeers. (Well, our suzerain is always of interest, isn't She? )
Such introductory task is likely to take some weeks still to complete, so I'll wait a bit until having some meat for this forum. Lluís |

Google Translate works pretty well for Catalan. |

And "Fart" is a title of nobility in your Imagi-nation, Lluis? It's a title for politicians in Canada too. :^) And congratulations on the campaign revival. |

Fart? well, Google translator tells me that the catalan word 'fart' also means 'fart' in english LOL I guess you're asking this after the title of one particular thread in my imagi-nation's blog, that reads 'tip i fart'. That's a popular pun in my country, because the sentence can be literally understood as 'satiated and fed up', or equally as 'having enough and bored with'. That was intended to describe the frame of mind of the main character in that thread, who was finding all sort of obstructions to his mandate by lower level officials… |
