That looks awesome. Well done!! Did you hand paint the sail and image on the sail? I would love to game with that little vessel. I have 2 from the kickstarter and was trying to figure out what I was going to do with mine. Now, thanks to you, I have some great inspiration and ideas of what this vessel can be. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration. Regards, Hitman |

Hitman, The image on the sail was made by a rubber ink stamp and archival ink. It took 24hrs to dry and then I sealed it with flat clear coat spray. The sails are made from .005 Evergreen architectural plastic coated in flat white and washed for color. Please post pictures when you get yours done. Wingnut |

"It's actually a problem with most of the ships from Firelock Games, most are tragically under gunned for our games." What are you playing ? An apocalyptic worlds end ? |

BelgianRay, we run a huge game occasionally at conventions that supports about 40 players in a session. I've selected a large variety of ships from different manufactures, Old Glory, Ainsty castings, Games of War.net, Miniature Building Authority, and some model wooden ships cut to waterline. Depending on length of the ship they range from none to 52 guns. It generally falls around a gun port for every two inches of hull at the waterline. So a twelve inch boat usually ends up with 6 guns per side. Firelock's models are amazing, they just have fewer guns per side than other manufactures. I've taken to modifying their models to give them more bite in a broadside. |
