Is there an Online source were I can find typical fighter bomber weapons loads? For example I believe Typhoons carried either rockets or bombs but not both on the same mission. However I seem to recall that P-47s might have carried both on the same mission.

Thanks!

They certainly could, and did, carry both – if you Google images of P-47 ground attack you're sure to find pictures with both bombs and 5" or tube-launched rockets.

I think the issue for the aircraft is the types of rockets used. Most pictures of bomb and rocket armed P-47's shows that the rockets are smaller than those used with the Typhoon and that they are fired from inside a tube whereas the Typhoon uses rails.

Well, you can buy the Fighting Wings series games (particularly Over the Reich and the upcoming Wings of the Motherland) and get as much detail as you need for reasonable gaming purposes. Each hardpoint with its maximum load, load types, etc., and maximum load for the aircraft.
