Stug Brigade 280 arrives at the outskirts of Arnhem, September 19, 1944. I have been experimenting with using B&W for some of my miniature photos. I like the look, but there are aspects of the color shots that I like as well. In any case, here are a few shots I took using both methods.

Yep, I like them both.

Sir Able Brush23 May 2019 6:37 a.m. PST

are they GHQ?

All but one, the VW car. The 20mm FLAK Maultier is a conversion of the GHQ model with the towed flak gun attached to the bed.

Love the buildings and terrain – also the B&W effect – NICE.

These look particularly good in black and white!

Bill -
That is really some over-the-top work!

And as I know from your other postings on the ACW, you do this level of modelling (specifically with regards to visual quality) for the games you put on on various occasions.

So … is this in preparation for some upcoming game? And, um, is there, ah, any way an old forum-buddy could get himself insinuated into the gaming roster?

I mean, it should be no surprise that a 6mm WW2 gaming fan would look at this and say "I wanna go play at Bill's house!"

Mark, looks like a long trip for you to Atlanta, but you're welcome to game with us anytime. We are NORTHAG on Facebook. Send a request to join and I will approve and get you on the distribution list. I ran the Market-Garden game for my club when I lived in South Florida back in 2008 and at Rapiercon in 2009. This vignette was done using some of the thousands of pieces myself and my club created for the campaign. The Table was over 35ft long.

Here are a couple of shots of the game underway at the aforementioned Rapiercon in Jacksonville, FL.

See, boys?

This is what I mean when I say "I wanna go play at Bill's house!"
