I'm just curious if any of you guys have any cool projects on the go? Currently, I'm working on the People's Star Republic of Megaslava, a 1980s themed synthwave communist regime that has no clue about their true astropolitical position in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Not in Sci-fi but I am working on a SYW Imagination – the Principality of Santa Maria and All Angels, sandwiched between Russia, Prussia and Austria-Hungary; so far I have the 2nd Infantry Brigade almost done – two infantry battalions, one jaeger battalion and a grenadier battalion plus the beloved brigade surgeon "Doc Daneka" – I have two more infantry battalions, an eight pounder battery and the brigade commander to go

I've been working on a 15mm Quar contribution to the Vietnam War, using Flames of War 'Nam figures and Zombiesmith's Quar.

I've been 3d printing some bunkers and emplacements for my Quar Firebase.

Weirdly this week I've been toying with the idea of using Peter Pigs AK-47 rules (with a few house rules) to do a Hammers slammers style sci-fi setting and building some 15mm armies to use with them.

I'm quite taken with The Scene's sci-fi soviet types

Wow, I'm really liking the tanks that The Scene has on offer.

AK47 would be great for that…and The Scene has some excellent stuff.

Good to hear from you Jon. Your painting style would be brilliant on those 15mm Neosovs

I'm taking advantage of the Warlord's sprue sales--picked up a bunch of Nappy Prussians and other assorted odds-and-sods to do some steampunk imagination stuff (because while the conquest of Mars gets all the glory, the fighting on Venus was much tougher and made do with older equipment).

On and off. Too busy on Tuesdays with kids rugby, gym, ballet etc. Do more solo stuff these days as a result. How are things with you wargames wise?

yeah I paint and model (have endless ideas in my head) down in the man cave. I rarely (if ever) play anymore to busy with work the daughter's ballet, tap, modern, Greek and contemporary and watching the son's football. Life you know…if I ever win the lotto though happy days:)
