So as I am making headway with the Sikh Wars collection and we have been triallign sharp practice I thought, why not get my Sikhs on table for the first time? Long term is to do this for Black Powder but for now any excuse to play with the toys. It was actually a really interesting game and Flashman had a good gametoo, writte up and photos on the blog link

Cool!

Are the tiles simply flocked Styrofoam? Love the simplicity of it, nice straight flat surfaces, a great foundation to build upon.

Chers guys.

Flashman14 yes its flock on styrofoam, PVA, then flock, then a thick layer of PVA over the top too. Its a really solid robust surface to work with. I like it, not mine though, only terrain I have is mats.

I like your shock markers too. I may very well steal that idea.

They are on very thin 20mm round MDF so really light, they are really obvious without beign unsightly, I like them a lot, tempted to pretend it was my idea but bound to get busted. Well done Steve.

It's always nice to find a set of rules that let you use your miniatures on the table a bit earlier than the project you intended them for.

As you say, a big morale boost, and I find it a big incentive to finish the rest! Looks like you two had a great game.
