Hi folks,

Capt Ron will be running a 15mm Naps game this weekend. A very small portion of the Battle of Waterloo, the French attack on Hougoumont! The rules will be General de Brigade. The custom table is set, the first two divisions of French troops are laid out awaiting dice, the only thing lacking is YOU!

Last time I was there Ontario was in Eastern Canada….

But I made the same mistake in 1983. "You are going to Michigan on a six months scholarship" they told me. Fine I went to the Canadian Embassy to ask about entry requirements. Poor woman was baffled. "Are you planning to visit Canada?" "Of course I am. I am going to be staying in Michigan for six months"…..it went on…..I could have died when the penny dropped.

How good to see Hgmt in realistic proportions. The building complex was one thing. You have to walk the length of the south wall to realise how big was the formal garden. Then the orchard was just about the same again. It made a huge dent in any approach to the western half of the Allied line, not easily appreciated now

Great looking game – just visited the Houghoumont last month – it was great to walk the grounds inside and out. They added a nice movie presentation in the barn since the last time I visited (1995)

We had a great game this past Saturday! I will post some pics and an AAR when time permits.
