I and a few chaps from the Devon Wargames Group made our annual trip up to Newark to take in Partizan and as usual I have composed a post presenting the games that caught my eye this year.

Real nice! One doesn't see many Hessians in AWI games. Or the French for that matter.

Thanks for the kind comments about Northampton Battlefields Society, Carojon … much appreciated.

If you are a Wars of the Roses enthusiast, we still have some tickets left for the July Conference. The £35.00 GBP covers lunch and parking as well as the study day itself so (hopefully) isn't too bad if battlefields and medieval warfare are you thing (wink they are mine … )

Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing. I had an opportunity to attend Partizan a couple of years ago and had a great time. I think my work will take me back over there in time to attend Partizan this time of year in 2020.

Thanks for your comments chaps, much appreciated and glad you enjoyed the post.

Phil – Keep up the good work, I am not sure I can come up to the July Conference as I will only just have got back from a three week Peninsular battlefield tour to Spain and my wife will definitely be 'battlefielded' out!

I did however grab one of the excellent guide leaflets to the trail around the Edgcote battlefield so I am hoping to do that and do a post about it.

Cheers all

From one who is too far away to get there – thanks for those marvelous photos. Some great inspiration for my own work!

Thanks – I love the grass on your game – teddy fur and glue or good old fashioned sawdust mix?
