How do people store neoprene and PVC mats? I have several that I have picked up, and I am finding that just rolling them up and putting them on my shelf isnt working -- eventually a box gets put on them, and then the PVC mats get creases. And the neoprene mats take up a lot of room. After any suggestions |

Perhaps you could roll them up and put them in something like this: link and then store them vertically. Or you could make your own custom tubes from pvc drain or sewer pipe. |

Do you perhaps have space / a free wall where you could "hang" them? I only have one mat (a PWorks kind of hellish/demonic landscape one) and I like it so much I actually have it hung on the wall in my hobby space when not in use (which is actually most of the time lately …). |

I have a large mat-o-war (a felt/flock/resin type mat) and getting creased flat was a worry here too. I have made a storage tube from plumbing pipe. I used soil pipe (no idea if it is called that in Oz) – the wide diameter waste pipe for toilets, with a couple of end caps attached. I drilled a couple of holes in one of the end caps so I could thread a length of cord through to make a handle. Cost me about £12.00 GBP, so relatively cheap. Alternatively try a narrower piece of waste pipe and roll your mats around it, securing with elastic bands |

I have a number of printed Hotz felt and laminate textile table top game mats, although not PVC or neoprene. I roll mine up and store them inside homemade cloth sleeves laid flat under the bed. |

Yoga mats are rolled and slid into a cloth tube (which has a carry strap). In school, the wrestling mat was rolled. Anything folded will pick up creases. Take care standing a rolled mat, that it does not crush itself at the bottom. |

I roll mine around cardboard tubes or plastic pipes. |

My Frontline Game mats came with a zippered cover. I back roll around a piece of PVC pipe so that they don't curl up on the table. |
