I attended Partizan 2019 this afternoon and shot some footage of the games on display. Unfortunately, my camera battery died half way round! But enjoy this video report of the show:

That was totally awesome. I really appreciate the video (and music) as I can't make it across the pond to attend. Thank you.

Cheers chaps, I'm just sorry it wasn't twice as long as it should have been! I'll make sure the camera is definitively charged next time!

excellent video. I am thinking of taking my video camera to Historicon this year.
can you tell me how you did those smooth fade transitions from one game to the next, and how you added music?

SoS Wargaming20 May 2019 9:09 a.m. PST

Cheers buddy, I'm glad you liked it. I use a programme called Filmora (although there's plenty of others) for editing. It is free, until you come to export your edit, then you have to pay, but it's pretty cheap. It has the transitions as part of the package, the one I used here was 'dissolve'and the music was taken from a royalty free Youtube video, which I used an online programme to download the video, then uploaded it into Filmora, detached the audio and set the levels. I believe there is an Apple editing programme built into Mac computers which is supposed to be good, otherwise, Windows Movie Maker is also another free basic editing software.

Cheers guys, glad you enjoyed the video. I really liked the Stalingrad game, particularly the printed map. That would be very useful for a lot of games!
