I took some WiP shots when I was building it so when I work my way through those I will post them up. Mud is an odd thing to do on models/figures. Most wargaming painting works on the principle of base colour + progressive layers of highlights. You need to think about mud in reverse. The freshest mud will be on the top and it will be darker and wet so – do the lightest dry brush as the base coat and than work back with the darkest, thickest and most recent mud as the high(low) light. |
